The processes of taking photographs have been greatly simplified since digital imaging techniques became commonly available. Now, it is relatively simple to capture a good image. But what is the “story” behind the image? Often there is none, other than to record a moment in time or place – a snapshot, to prompt a memory sometime in the future. But what about that time or place as seen by a third party observer of the photographer?
This project is about photographers photographing photographers – candid, anonymous shots of other photographers “caught in the act” of photographing their future memories.
