Microscopy

The beauty hidden in most of the natural world can not been seen with the naked eye. This project focuses on revealing some of the microscopic world in all its detail and inherent beauty. Powerful and complex microscopes are used to reveal details of commonly observed natural objects that are just a little smaller that what one can see with the unaided eye. No attempt is made at “seeing” extremely small objects like molecules or atoms – we leave this to the textbooks. All images are captured in as close as possible “real colour” and always trying to create an image one would be happy to hang in one’s house or gallery.

As this project develops (and if it is requested), more technical information about image creation will be included with the images.
